Fresh veronica, must-have for your field bouquet.

Fresh veronica, must-have for your field bouquet. Everyone loves a dashing field bouquet at times. An eclectic one with free forms and soft tones. Getting started yourself? Put Veronica on your ingredients list.

COLOURS AND SHAPES
Veronica can be found in all shades of blue, as well as purple, pink and white. This makes this flower a suitable candidate for a spring or autumn bouquet. There are over ten varieties of Veronica available in the shops and they can be recognised by the flower shape in a conical, ascending spike. Veronica is also often seen in gardens, where butterflies flutter happily around it.

SYMBOLIC
The flower Veronica also listens to the name (high) honorary price. This name was given by a Frankish king. The king used the flower on the advice of a hunter and was cured of his leprosy as a result. Thereafter, the flower was referred to as 'honour and prize'.

HISTORY
Veronica is native to Europe and some parts of northern Asia.
