Aster, a beautiful autumnal flower of international origin. If you want to get completely in a cheerful mood, buy yourself a big bunch of beautiful asters. The core of the radiant bloomer is surrounded by fine leaves that remain beautiful for a long time.

COLORS AND SHAPES
Purple-blue or white asters are the most common, but there is also a sweet pink, red, lilac, violet and dark purple variety. The yellow core makes the leaves stand out even more beautifully. The contrast enhances the colours. The sturdy stem carries the large core panicle, surrounded by long, narrow leaves.

SYMBOLISM
If you want a good old age yourself or if your grandmother could use a boost, buy a large bunch of asters, which bring a happy old age in addition to autumn joy. And although we think the flowers fit better in a vase, according to mythical stories you can scare away snakes and devils by burning the leaves.

ORIGIN
The aster is native to Europe, Asia and North America. In the beginning there were exaggeratedly many species, namely 600. At the end of the last century this number was reduced to 250. The different species are divided into different genera. They are perennial, herbaceous plants that belong to the composite family.
